Yes. Everyone adds SPOT to Chrome once, for free. Then any page you all open is a place to meet.
Does it sync the video?
Everyone watches in their own tab, so live streams line up on their own. For a video that isn’t live, count down and press play together.
Is the group chat private?
Your Spot’s chat is just for the people in your Spot.
Does it work on every website?
Almost all of them, from YouTube to your favorite shop. Chrome doesn’t let extensions run on its own pages, like the new tab page or the Chrome Web Store.
